7 Ways to NOT Be Like Chic Fil A

Chic Fil A Corporate Purpose: To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.

What are you thinking?

This is NOT the Vision that Truett Cathy had for this company

You are selling your soul to the world.

For what purpose?

Go Woke – Go Broke

This statement go woke go broke, is true. If you are a proclaimed “Christian” company that is going to defy God’s laws, you WILL go broke.

You have bowed to the leftist narrative of inclusion and equality. What will you bow to next?

This was one the most loved company for people with family values and even Christian values. You have sorely disappointed many people.

Inclusion Sounds Good on The Surface

Every person is created by God. Every single human being is born with significance, value, and worth.

The problem is, people are no longer taught their value from the pulpits, so they look for it somewhere else.

The definition of inclusion in itself is good; however, it has extended into something way more than ensuring each individual feels welcome in the workplace or any other environment.

Eat the Orange

Life is similar to going into a grocery store, there are some foods that we like, so we will pick them up and buy them.

There are some foods we dislike, may cause reactions, allergies, or simply not something we want to eat at that moment. So, we simply leave them at the store.

However, if there now becomes a mandate that we have to buy EVERYTHING in the store and you must eat oranges when we really don’t want to eat an orange, it seems a bit crazy. Doesn’t it?

We Are NOT All Equal

Trying to make every single person feel comfortable in every single situation without feelings getting hurt or any offense ever occurring.

That is a bit crazy too and literally impossible…

Feelings are unpredictable, they lie, and really are not a good way to manage our lives.

Not everyone is going to be equal, that too is impossible.

Prophetic Reality

Because we are in the end times, the sad truth is MANY people will fall away from the Lord.

1 Timothy 4:1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

It is a challenge to be bombarded with the pressure and weight coming from all sides. Sometimes it may ‘appear’ to be the right thing to do

But remember, the enemy is deceptive and comes disguised in good.

Don’t Be Like Chic Fil A

  1. Check everything with the word of God. When there are mandates or a decision that needs to be made base what you do on what God’s word says. It may not be the popular thing to do but we are to honor God first over popularity.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 Timothy 3:16
  2. Know what God’s Word says. In order to know what the word says and means, schedule time to be present and study every single day.

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

3.Protect and guard your heart and mind. Take every thought captive because all actions begin with a thought.

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5

4. Continually pray in the Spirit

Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:17-18

5. Be led by the Holy Spirit, not man

For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other so you are not to do whatever you want.  But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Galatians 5:17-18

6. Stay connected with like-minded believers. It’s really important to choose our friends and the people we spend time with wisely.

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17

7. Be in a church. Be sure that you are in a Spirit-filled church that teaches the full gospel.

Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God,  instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. Hebrews 6:1-2

These seven ways are the only way that we can stand firm and not fall away as Chic Fil A has.
