Matthew 10:29-31 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Cathy’s thoughts: this is one verse of many that shows that You Are Who God Says You Are; you are worth more than many sparrows. What this means is God created those precious birds and they are important to Him, but YOU are even more precious and also eternal with Him. (powerful)
Hebrews 11:27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.
Cathy’s thoughts: I had to read this verse a few times before I understood the meaning. But if you go back and read the entire book it’s about many people doing things “by faith” because they KNEW who God was!!! This particular scripture is about Moses and he left Egypt because He had FAITH. What a great reminder for us to step out in faith because of who we are in “the invisible one”!!! (we may need to study this chapter more)
2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
Cathy’s thoughts: this is another powerhouse verse if you really meditate on it. Keep our eyes on the Lord (what is not seen) vs keeping our eyes on (what we do see) our troubles or challenges; because these seen things are temporary and not really what is important; but keeping our eyes on “the invisible” is eternal and what is really important. A great scripture to remember when we get anxious or start to worry before we make something small into something bigger than it needs to be…
