Claim and Receive Your Royalty

SCRIPTURE: For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering. Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later. [Romans 8:16-18]

QUOTE: We were descended from royalty (Natalie Wood).

Claim your royalty girlfriend! You are the daughter of THE King! Do you realize how precious and priceless you are?

I know even as you are reading through this book and doing a few of the action steps, you still have some doubts in your mind about YOU.

This is a day-by-day, sometimes minute-by-minute process. It takes time to truly love yourself and it takes time in the Word to believe what God says about you. It’s also hard because of the distractions and the arrows the enemy is always flinging at us and some moments we don’t even have time to put our armor on.

But please remember, you have descended from royalty; you are a precious child of God, an heir of God almighty, an heir with Christ, and you have been predestined by God to receive an inheritance. I want you to claim this royalty and wear that crown with dignity and confidence. I want you to believe You Are Who God Says You Are.

Our main Scripture  says that we have been chosen by God through Jesus. God has CHOSEN YOU and Jesus is your mediator and he advocates on YOUR behalf. Doesn’t that just amaze you? Think about this for a moment. We have a personal mediator to God Almighty. With my pea-sized brain some days I just can’t wrap that around my head. It’s so amazing and what a privilege.

Do you remember in school when they picked teams for sports or for some activity? I don’t know about you, but I was always hoping I would be picked for the “cool” team, that I wouldn’t be the last one picked, if chosen at all. Remember those emotions of being picked or not being picked. Well girlfriend, we have been CHOSEN for the most absolute “A” “cool” team there could ever be, God’s team.

In Ephesians 1:11 (see below) this passage reminds us that we have been predestined. In other words, an outcome has already been determined in advance by Almighty God for our lives. Just so you know, this plan will be carried out whether we go kicking and screaming or we choose to go willingly. He will work out every single detail and walk us through every single step, and all at the right time.

Also, in this week’s main Scripture, it says as an “heir” we will share in his sufferings as well as the glory. This is another reminder that our journey WILL NOT be a walk in a park. There will be troubles which are part of this fallen world.

There is another entire new level of claiming your royalty. It’s when you can call God, Abba, Father, or Daddy. Oh, I don’t know about you girlfriends even as close as I feel to God this level at one time was a challenge for me. A father is supposed to be a protector and a teacher and someone that provides a safe space. So, again because of our pea-sized brain, it’s sometimes hard to understand the perfection of a Holy God verses a humanly father. This level of a relationship with God is truly letting go and saying I trust you Daddy and then jumping off a cliff into his arms. It is having that child-like faith and believing Daddy’s intentions are always good for us and He knows best. When we get mixed up with the analogy of our Holy Father with our earthly father it can block us from this very intimate level.

RECIEVE YOUR ROYALTY: Being part of royalty and having a relationship with God Almighty is an exciting adventure! It’s an adventure because who knows what God has up his sleeve!!! Every day he offers opportunities to learn, grow, love, serve, make choices, and ways to walk closer to him.

Please also remember, a great price was paid for us to have this personal relationship with God Almighty (Jesus gave His life for YOU). It is up to each one of us individually if we decide to follow Him and whether we choose to receive the gift royalty or not.

DAILY SCRIPTURES

DAY 1: See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. [1 John 3:1]

DAY 2: You are coming to Christ, who is the living cornerstone of God’s temple. He was rejected by people, but he was chosen by God for great honor. And you are living stones that God is building into his spiritual temple. What’s more, you are his holy priests. Through the mediation of Jesus Christ, you offer spiritual sacrifices that please God. [1 Peter 2:4-5]

DAY 3: But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. [1 Peter 2:9]

DAY 4: God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. [Ephesians 1:5]

DAY 5: And so you were adorned with gold and silver. Your clothes were made of fine linen and costly fabric and were beautifully embroidered. You ate the finest foods choice flour, honey, and olive oil and became more beautiful than ever. You looked like a queen, and so you were! [Ezekiel 16:13]

DAY 6: The Lord will hold you in his hand for all to see, a splendid crown in the hand of God. [Isaiah 62:3]

DAY 7: For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering. Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later. [Romans 8:16-18]
