Biblical TeachingsPodcast Episode

God’s Demonstration of Love for YOU

Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. [Ephesians 3:17–19]

My desire is that you get a revelation of the spirit, mind, and soul of God’s love; which will radically transform your life.

  • If we don’t understand God’s love, we won’t understand the other things that are promised.
  • We will not pursue what we don’t think we are worthy to receive (quote)
  • The love of God is not something we are to “do” for God.
  • Unfortunately, that is how the world portrays and lives out love, and this approach, sadly, has entered into the body of Christ: “If you really love God, you’ll do this, serve here, don’t do this or that, etc.”
  • God’s love is not something He demands of you—God’s love is what He has demonstrated TO YOU!
  • It’s not emotions and feelings; it’s a rock-solid revelation that I am loved.
  • The revelation of God’s love is the same way I receive salvation, by faith.
  • I am loved by the father – thank you!
  • God is not a God of nice words of what He thinks about you, but he’s about a MOVEMENT toward you.
  • He had to show and reveal His heart and love to you!
  • I do NOT need to earn or perform for God to love me.
  • God first loved me!! 😊
  • He has demonstrated it for me in soooooo many ways

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.  And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. [John 3:16-20]

  • God loved ALL of us – the world.
  • Everyone who believes.
  • God sent Jesus not to judge.
  • There is NO judgment for anyone who believes.
  • Only those who don’t believe will be judged according to their unbelief.
  • God had to give us a demonstration of his love to pull us out of loss
  • People love their worldly and ungodly lives.
  • Religion teaches that you are going to hell.
  • Now that you have found Jesus you need to get your act together (religion)
  • Look from God’s perspective of LOVE vs religion!

But—when God our Savior revealed His kindness and love, He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life [Titus 3:4–7]

  • I cannot do ONE thing to make God love me anymore than He does.
  • It’s by His mercy.
  • God has a legal charge over me.
  • I have been made an heir because of His love.
  • The love of God is enough to destroy the power of sin.

If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away! In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish. [Matthew 18:12-14]

  • Its God’s movement toward me came ALL the blessings!
  • NOTHING that I did
  • I get to respond to His pursuit of me.
  • There is a dedication and persistence of those that are lost.

Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? [Romans 2:4]

  • It’s the goodness of God that has called me to repentance.
  • He wants to reveal who He is to me.
  • We don’t come to God because of fear, we do it because of His love.
  • The love of God brings us back to Him when I get off track.
  • If the enemy can get us to believe the lies, we will draw back further. (he is angry, you are a disappointment, do more, pray, serve, and give, so you feel more worthy)
  • The enemy has distorted who God really is.
  • God’s love is not fickle, demanding, or condemning.

Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?  (As the Scriptures say, For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep. No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.  No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. [Romans 8:32–39]

  • God’s love is freely given no matter where someone is
  • No matter what mistakes they made
  • God demonstrated with His son, that He gave and will give us all things
  • All the blessings, God has already given us everything!!
  • We gave us Jesus – all promises are in that package.
  • When we don’t receive ALL we are not believe Jesus is worthy to do it all
  • I’m a righteous, transforming, mess in God’s hands!
  • Anything that I give to the love of God can be transformed.
  • There have been disappointments, and heartache, people can let us down, it can wrap pieces of us, and our heart. This becomes our new identity
  • God is the potter, He can transform me to who I really am.
  • He will revolutionize my heart.
  • My dreams, desires, home, travel, family etc.
  • If God says it’s mine – it’s MINE – it’s done.
  • I’m God’s elect, no one else can declare who I am.
  • I Am Who God Says I Am
  • Jesus is at the right hand of God, alive, and risen, and inside of me!! 😊
  • Nothing, no one, anything, NOTHING will ever separate me from God
  • I HAVE THE SPIRIT OF GOD IN ME….
  • Because HE LOVES ME
  • I have a more than conquer attitude, stance, and steadfastness!
  • Gods love is always with me, I don’t need to maintain it, I do not need to earn it. Amen and amen
  • He has already freely given me ALL His Love.
  • I do not need to get fixed up for God to love me.
