I hope you do listen to the study today, because it’s got some fantastic gemstones in it. My two biggest takeaways from the reading were:
- Instead of focusing on me and the great things I can do for God, I need to work on becoming the person/the vessel God can do great things THROUGH.
- Let go of my plans and trust that God does work THROUGH imperfect vessels like myself!
- Imagine yourself as a vessel. Describe what you see.
- Which is more important: understanding your spiritual gifts or understanding the ONE who imparts those gifts? Why?
- What is the difference between accomplishing things for god vs allowing Him to accomplish His work through you?
- Which of the above approaches best describes your life right now?
- What key lesion did you learn from today’s study?

Understanding what God wants to accomplish through your life is far more important than deciding what you think you can accomplish for Him.
The key to effective ministry (and I’m going to add a biblical based business) is understanding how and why God works through imperfect vessels like us!
