Know Jesus

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. Romans 10:9-10 (NLT)

If you have not yet asked Jesus to be in your life, simply say the most important prayer you can ever pray below:

PRAYER OF SALVATION Father, I believe your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I know that I have sinned and that my sins have separated me from you. Thank you that you made a way for me to connect with you again. Today, I am truly sorry for my sins. I repent right now for ALL of my sins, and I turn toward you. Please forgive me, and I thank you that all things is washed away and forgotten as of this moment. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart and in my life from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to guide and instruct me moment by moment for the rest of my life here on earth. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Next Steps

  1. REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE A NEW PERSON: thank you Lord!!! You are forgiven, God has forgotten everything up to this moment, it’s gone, washed away because of Jesus. You are a new person in Christ and all the old is in the past and to be forgotten. So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.

The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. 2 Corinthians 5:16-18 NLT.

  • READ YOUR BIBLE DAILY. This is how you learn to know who God is and how we are to live our lives. At some point, you will want to get a study bible, but in the meantime go to Bible Gateway https://www.biblegateway.com  to get started today! Choose the NIV-New International Version or the NLT-New Living Translation for your studies. Make a reading plan, (maybe start with the book of Matthew and read 5 verses each day), schedule your time, and don’t miss that Holy Appointment! Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. (Joshua 1:8 New Living Translation NLT)

  • INTENTIONAL FOCUSED PRAYER DAILY: prayer is also during that Holy Appointment. Pray to the Father in Jesus’ name. As you read the bible you will learn about God’s promises. As you learn the promises, this is what you base your prayers on. When you base your prayers on the Word of God, you can boldly ask God in prayer to answer as He has promised. Prayer doesn’t have to be just once a day; you can go to God all throughout the day about anything and everything. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT)

    4. FIND A CHURCH THAT TEACHES THE FULL GOSPEL: You want to be under a pastor that teaches the entire gospel; meaning we have been given the power of the Holy Spirit, for healing, rebuking evil spirits, for prosperity, health, and abundance. Not all churches are perfect because they are made up of people, so please ask the Holy Spirit to give you discernment about what is being taught.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV
