DOCTRINE #1: ALL SCRIPTURES ARE INSPIRED BY GOD
In the beginning, the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created and his life brought light to everyone. [John 1:1-4]
DOCTRINE #2: THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE GOD
But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live. [1 Corinthians 8:6]
DOCTRINE #3: THE DEITY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. [Isaiah 9:6]
The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve. [Jeremiah 17:9-10]
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. [2 Corinthians 5:17-18a]
DOCTRINE #6: MISSION OF THE CHURCH – 5 PILLARS of a TRUE CHURCH
God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself. [Ephesians 1:22-23]
DOCTRINE #7: ORDINANCES OF THE CHURCH
So guard yourselves and God’s people. Feed and shepherd God’s flock—his church, purchased with his own blood over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as leaders. I know that false teachers, like vicious wolves, will come in among you after I leave, not sparing the flock. Even some men from your own group will rise up and distort the truth in order to draw a following. [Acts 20:28-30]
DOCTRINE #8: BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. [Acts 2:42-43]
DOCTRINE #9: EVIDENCE AND BENEFITS OF BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability. [Acts 2:1-4]
DOCTRINE #10: SANCTIFICATION-BAPTISM OF FIRE
If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work. [2 Timothy 2:21]
DOCTRINE #11: MINISTRY-THE BODY OF CHRIST
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. [Acts 20:24]
Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security. [Jeremiah 33:6]
DOCTRINE #13: THE BLESSED HOPE
Look, I will come as unexpectedly as a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their clothing ready so they will not have to walk around naked and ashamed. [Revelation 16:15]
DOCTRINE #14: THE MILLENNIAL REIGN OF CHRIST
The Lord will mediate between nations and will settle international disputes. They will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no longer fight against nation, nor train for war anymore. [Isaiah 2:4]
DOCTRINE #15: THE FINAL JUDGEMENT
But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left. Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons. [Matthew 25:31-33, 41]
DOCTRINE #16: THE NEW HEAVEN AND THE NEW EARTH
But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness. [2 Peter 3:13]
