You Are LOVED by God

I think one of the things that many women struggle with is believing they have worth and that they are loved. In a world that has distorted the value of women so much, unless you are immersed in God’s Word, you may not fully grasp how much God loves and values YOU.

I am dedicated to creating these messages and podcasts, particularly the ones about God’s love, because I, too, need a reminder of how much God loves me. I’ve discovered the most effective way to truly comprehend God’s love and personalize it for myself is by being immersed in His Word. ***this is a repeated post but one that can never be heard enough.

Please know that God is for YOU and God loves YOU.

When we have those (devilish) thoughts of being unloved the best thing we can do is speak God’s Word out loud.

As you embrace these scriptures and vocalize them, whenever you encounter the word YOU, incorporate your name or say I. Make every word that God has spoken meaningful and personal to YOU.

I pray that this message encourages you and these scriptures will emphasize twenty ways God shows His love for YOU. Know that YOU are perfectly loved.

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! [1 John 3:1a]

  1. CHILD OF GOD: This verse is so personal because He calls us His children. Yes, YOU are a child of God, which is so amazing. YOU have the privilege and honor to be called a child of the Most High King. God calls YOU His child. Bask in this thought for a moment, imagine a perfect loving father. YOU are a child of God Almighty. YOU are perfectly loved.

God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins [1 John 4:9-10]

  1. JESUS THE GREATEST LOVE: The most incredible display of love was when God sacrificed His son for a relationship with YOU. This is what is so incredible. God’s love for YOU isn’t based on anything YOU have done or have not done. God loves YOU just because you breathe. God loves YOU because He is love. God’s love is beyond human understanding of the sacrifice He has given. God loves YOU more than any human could even think of doing. This act of sacrificing His son is almost inconceivable and shows the depth of His love for YOU. YOU are perfectly loved.

We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. [1 John 4:16]

  1. GOD IS LOVE: God’s love is the only love YOU can trust 100%. Remember God is living inside of YOU, which gives YOU the ability to love as He does. Because God loves YOU, YOU can love, without God there is no love. YOU can trust God to always love YOU. YOU are perfectly loved.

Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. [1 John 4:18]

  1. PERFECT LOVE: Many people have the wrong kind of fear of God. The fear we are to have is a reverent fear, knowing He is God. Not a fear of punishment. God is not out to destroy or condemn YOU. He absolutely loves YOU, as a perfect love. There is nothing you can do or not do to change the love that God has for YOU. A love that is complete and not like a human love. This is what makes it challenging to fully grasp—His love is perfect. YOU are perfectly loved.

Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands. [Deuteronomy 7:9]

  1. COVENANT LOVE: God cannot go back on His word. What He says, He is, what He says will be, will be, what He says He will do, He will do. A covenant is a formal, solemn, and binding agreement. It is a written promise usually under seal between two or more parties especially for the performance of some action. God has made a covenant to us, to YOU that He will always love YOU. He has shown that since humans have been on this earth. The only thing He asks in return is that YOU love Him and obey his commands. His love is without fault or any errors, God’s love is a covenant love. YOU are perfectly loved.

Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins. You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God.  All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else. But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. [Ephesians 2:1-6]

  1. GOD’S LOVE: This is such a powerful passage. We were once dead in our sins, having no hope, under the reign of the devil, tormenting us, discouraging us, and keeping us in unbelief, bringing us with him on the wide path straight to hell. However, there are two powerful words that can bring YOU so much hope – BUT GOD! Yes, God in his mercy, His compassion, and forgiveness towards YOU, made a decision to reconcile that separation! He gave YOU life when He raised Christ from the dead. This wonderful relationship builder called Salvation is God’s love gift to YOU!! Wow, YOU are perfectly loved.

And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. [Ephesians 3:18-19]

  1. UNCOMPREHENSIBLE LOVE: Notice that these scriptures don’t say how wide, how long, how high, and high deep God’s love is for YOU. It may seem beyond our pea-sized human minds to understand how great it is. God’s love is like the ocean without any beaches or shores, and mountains without a summit. He loves YOU because He is love. God’s love is complete, whole, and perfect without boundaries or expectations. Remember, YOU have been given the mind of Christ, so YOU do have the power to understand! All the fullness of the God dwells in the Lord Jesus Christ, and Jesus dwells within YOU. This makes YOU perfect in Him and accepted by the Father. This is so mind-blowing!!! Seriously, if we really look at all the promises that God makes to us, it’s beyond amazing and awesome. YOU are perfectly loved.

For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken, says the LORD, who has mercy on you. [Isaiah 54:10]

  1. FAITHFUL LOVE: wow, do you see those three promises just in this one verse just for YOU? (1) His faithful love will remain for YOU, even if everything else disappears. (2) God’s covenant blessing for YOU will never be broken (3) God has mercy on YOU. It doesn’t matter what happens to the earth God will always love YOU. Doesn’t this give you great comfort? YOU are perfectly loved.

I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself. [Jeremiah 31:3]

  1. EVERLASTING LOVE: It is God’s desire that YOU would come close to Him. He wants a close and intimate relationship with YOU. So close that YOU know His voice. God’s love for YOU will never end. God’s love for YOU is unfailing and always reliable. God’s love for YOU is constant, no matter what YOU do or don’t do. God’s love for YOU is without error, it is perfect. God’s love for YOU is without fault. God’s love for YOU is everlasting, which means forever and forever. YOU are perfectly loved.

 For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. [John 3:16]

  1. PERFECT LOVE: The enemy’s tactic is to deceive your mind, making you believe you’re missing out or that God doesn’t love YOU. These are lies from the pit of hell. Sin entered the world when Adam and Eve, were swayed by a deceitful snake, and ate an apple, thinking it would bring more wisdom. In reality, they were already perfect, possessing all the attributes of God. This one act of deception is what caused YOU to be born with a sinful nature and to be separated from God. The entire Bible and the life, death, and resurrection of Christ is God demonstrating His desire to reconcile that relationship with YOU. John 3:16 is a verse that everyone knows, but do YOU grasp the depth of this? God loves YOU so much that He gave His only son so that YOU will not join the devil in hell but can have eternal life with God almighty. That is His perfect desire and will – that YOU choose to be with Him now and forever. There is no greater love and no other perfect love than God’s love for YOU. YOU are perfectly loved.

I’m actually going to end this session with these ten scriptures because they are deep and deserve the time to review, meditate, and claim. I will continue with the next ten in another message.
